Judge Donald R. Pozzi is a humble man who has served his country and community for many, many years.  As a sitting Judge, Pozzi, tried to make his community a better place for everyone with hope and growth.  Pozzi currently sits on the board for The Port of Victoria and for St. Joseph High School. These boards cover many aspects of economic development and of its future leaders.

Judge Pozzi, born in 1943, got to see more of the world while serving in the United States Army. Pozzi likes to dedicate time contributing to Veteran’s Organizations like his local Veterans of Foreign War - VFW and Vietnam Veterans of America - VVA. These organizations hold a special meaning for Judge Pozzi because he was one of the soldiers who was stationed in Vietnam.  Judge Pozzi also served his country as a college graduate.

Judge Pozzi’s educational background includes a Law Degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law. Judge Pozzi’s legal career spanned an impressive 43 years till his retirement in 2015. His professional affiliations range from The State Barr of Texas to Local city and school boards. Judge Pozzi’s dedication to children is evident with him Chairing boards for Child Welfare, The Housing Authority, and The Youth Homes of Victoria, TX.

Judge Pozzi’s accomplishments were highlighted by being Appointed by Gov. Rick Perry in 1999 and the Outstanding Citizen of the Year award by the Victoria Chamber of Commerce in 2013. Pozzi has even received awards from The Victoria Diocese for being a Diocesan Distinguished Alumni. While the awards were nice, Judge Pozzi loves being a father to his two sons, Jeffrey and Jonathan and a Grandpa to his two Granddaughters, Lauren and Kendall.
