Tax Abatements for Businesses Locating in Port of Victoria

One of the incentives available to companies locating in Port of Victoria is a tax abatement program. The City and County of Victoria have established guidelines for reinvestment zones and granting tax abatements. Basic industries in addition to manufacturing, research or regional service facilities, and distribution centers are all eligible to apply.

Applicants must meet certain economic qualifications, including an increase to the appraised value of the property equal to or above $500,000, and adding a minimum of ten full-time positions. Abatements are granted for up to eight years.
