U.S. Census data indicates 83% of residents of Victoria and the surrounding county have graduated high school. Outside Victoria, businesses can draw on the nation’s second-largest workforce from throughout Texas. The University of Houston-Victoria produces highly educated graduates each year in Arts & Sciences, Business Administration, Education, Health Professions and Human Development. It is ranked the fifth-most affordable public university in Texas. Locally, Victoria College offers associate degrees in popular programs such as health professions and engineering.

Texas Vocational Schools is an accredited post-secondary occupational education institute offering students hands-on education programs in welding, accounting, legal and medical office.
