The $26.4 million undertaking is made possible through collaborative efforts with Victoria County and the Victoria Sales Tax Development Corporation, each contributing $3 million. Phase 1, set to commence in Q1 2024, will span 12 months, featuring the addition of over 42,000 feet of track, including the constructing of three 10,000-foot drop and pull tracks. TXLC will be linked with the Union Pacific and BNSF railroads upon completion.

The Victoria County Navigation District has secured a substantial $20.35 million grant from the TXDOT Maritime Infrastructure Program (MIP) for the initial phase of a groundbreaking rail infrastructure project at the Texas Logistics Center (TXLC).
