The Victoria County Navigation District has secured a substantial $20.35 million grant from the TXDOT Maritime Infrastructure Program (MIP) for the initial phase of a groundbreaking rail infrastructure project at the Texas Logistics Center (TXLC). Upon completion, TXLC will be served by the Union Pacific and BNSF railroads. This endeavor is poised to catapult the Port into the future by two decades, fostering new businesses, benefiting existing tenants, and encouraging potential projects.
