The Victoria County Navigation District has secured a substantial $20.35 million grant from the TXDOT Maritime Infrastructure Program (MIP) for the initial phase of a groundbreaking rail infrastructure project at the Texas Logistics Center (TXLC). In addition to the MIP Grant, the Port is set to receive funding for the North Site Access Road and Transloading Project through the TXDOT Seaport Connectivity Program (SCP). With a total project cost of $1,977,922, the grant will cover $1,566,757. These investments are a testament to the Port's dedication to growth and innovation within the community.
