The Texas Logistics Center has multiple infrastructure advantages, including a barge canal, highways and dual rail access. The barge canal is also a Harbor of Refuge for commercial and private craft during a storm, and is located just 35 miles inland from the Gulf Coast. In addition, it has a 60 barge capacity, two general cargo docks, and three liquid docks.
The Texas Logistics Center is served by a 4 lane divided highway, which provides access to US-59 / I-69 and options for moving heavy freight traffic from Victoria to neighboring Texas cities and all parts of the United States, Mexico and Canada. Major rail providers include Union Pacific and BNSF. There is 8.1 miles of track currently under design. This track will be the Drop and Pull tracks for the class 1’s.
