The Port of Victoria is leading the way in green energy in the Crossroads region. The Port is home to two major green energy projects: First Ammonia and Vitis Energy.

First Ammonia is developing a facility to produce green ammonia from solar and wind power. Green ammonia is a clean, renewable fuel that can be used to power ships, trucks, and other vehicles. Vitis Energy is developing a solar-powered battery storage facility. Battery storage is an important part of the green energy puzzle, as it allows us to store clean energy when it is abundant and use it when it is needed.
